Hmmm... I guess it's been a while since i updated or anything. It's been QUITE a while since i posted a news item. Well, here's a news item, so it won't get to be 2 years between posts anyway.

I just posted a brand spankin' new flash animation. You know brand spankin' new comes from babies being spanked when they're born so they will cry and thus begin to breathe? I mean they're in the womb before they're born, so they don't have to breathe yet. They aren't used to it. It's a new thing... They must learn... Yeah... so... ok... what?
Anyway, I posted a new flash animation over here. It's based on a word problem (aren't those always fun?) some of my friends were working on the other night. The idea of an animation was encouraged by one of them. ...Maybe someday I'll put sounds on it.

Ok, ladies and webaphobes. I finally figured out what was wrong with my site and why most people were seeing this news frame with white-space below it. What was the culprit? Two extra unnecessary line breaks that I put in there when I first built the site. Yes, it was a trivial thing, but it took me a while to think it through and get it fixed, ok? So I'm slow. I'll get over it somehow.
So that's what was wrong. It should be fixed. If you still have problems with how the page loads on your computer e-mail me and let me know what the trouble is so I can work on it. If you can send me a screenshot that would be great too, but if you can't I understand.

I know you really care, but this is big news item #10! Yay! Aren't you excited? If you are you must really live a sheltered life. ;)
Anyway, I've posted a few more links and split the list into fun sites and tutorial sites. (Where you can learn web design, JavaScript, DHTML, Flash, etc.)

Ok, I haven't worked on Perl a lot of late. I have been working on a few things, though. Flash in particular and a little bit of HTML / JavaScripting. Over the next few days I should have a test Flash page up with an intro animation (not very long. I'm not going to make you watch a movie when you come to my site.), and a page with a dragable menu which I've been playing with. So that's what you can look forward to in the near future (if all goes well). See you then!

Well, I haven't updated in a while I suppose. The reason is that I've been trying to learn perl so I could write some programs and make this webpage much easier to maintain. So far it seems to be working. This is the first news post I've made to the main page with a perl script.
I may not be making a lot of wallpapers in the near future, but I could have some other interesting stuff up here. Just keep checking back and I'll let you know of anything interesting that's going on over here at your friendly neighborhood webaphobe!The Web-Slinger

Finally, I figured out a way to get this site working in Netscape and to top it all, it doesn't look that bad! Check it out if you have NS on your computer. It didn't even take too long to do it! (Still doesn't look as beautiful as it does in IE, though.) ;)

Oooh pretty. Notice I've got a bunch of new images made and I'm now putting them on the news when I update, so enjoy them. I also put up a new section today. It's called HaShem which means "The Name" in Hebrew, usually used in referance to The Name of GOD.
Aside from that I'm working on a Powerpuff Girls theme, but I'm having a little trouble finding images for the bad guys. I'll let you know when it's online if I can find enough images to make a decent wallpaper.

Ok, this stuff actually shows up correctly on other people's computers now. If it doesn't then you're probably using NS. Sorry this won't work in it. Of course you won't be able to read this, so I should probably quit talking to you. Anyway, I'm going to go do some work with the icons section now and maybe I can have that online sometime tonight. Look for that today or sometime during the next week.

FINALLY! Bwahaha! I am the master. I just got a bunch of stuff figured out and I'm happy. I finally got a page to show up inside a browser window and that's pretty cool. Of course I have two choices now. I can take the more complex code of the two and this thing will work in NS (kinda) *gag* AND IE, or I can take the easier of the two and it will work in IE.
Well, IE wins out in this battle. For some reason this site never did look right in NS anyway and it's not gonna be popular enough to worry about.
Aside from that, check out SWFANS.NET's new Memory Game (Courtesy of the amazing Son). Also his site, Simply Natalie is worth a look.

I really don't have a clue what I'm going to do with this website. I just had a new webdesign in my head and I wanted to go with it. Looks pretty good so far. The main page is gonna be a bear, though.
Eventually this section will scroll hopefully. that would be nice. I'll have to try a few different ways of doing that. One way will probably be using Flash or Shockwave or something similar to that.
Also this stoopid thing doesn't work in Netscape... it may be a while if I ever really feel like making that happen... IF. NS is for those who do not know how to open IE. <--- coming from someone who once swore off IE in favor of NS.
